Beach paddle tennis is played with regular inexpensive beach paddles and balls, such as Pro Kadima. The ball is the standard hard rubber ball that you buy at any beach store. It's about 1 inch in diameter.
  • This is the only net that will stop a small ball. Volleyball and badminton nets won't work - the balls will go through both. There is no comparable net on the market.
  • The net is made of extremely strong polyester webbing with twine running along the top and bottom, reinforced by thick taping.
  • Singles nets are $19.99, with $2.90 shipping and handling.
  • Doubles nets are $38.99, with $2.95 shipping and handling.
  • The singles net is 7 and 1/2 feet long and 1 and 1/2 feet wide.
  • The doubles net is 10 feet long and 1 and 1/2 feet wide.

We sell the NETS ONLY. 8 feet by 1 inch diameter pvc poles cost only $4.50 each at Home Depot. The cost of shipping the poles would be greater than the cost of the poles themselves.

Cut your poles any length, but typically cut them at 7 and 1/ 2 feet high. Then put them in a hole about 1 foot deep. This would give you a game where the top of the net is 6 and 1/ 2 feet off the ground at the side poles, and about 6 feet in the middle because of the net sag.

Set-up in the sand takes less than 3 minutes.

Game Rules: On each side of the net draw a line in the sand about 4 feet back from the net, parallel to the net. If a player is inside that line, body or hands, he or she must hit an under-hand shot. He cannot hit an over-hand shot. Otherwise, make your own rules and court diminsions.
